About us

Matthew 25:34-35

34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;

Matthew 25:36-37

36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?

Matthew 25:38-40

38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

When the Holy Spirit directed me to form a ministry for the homeless, I was called by God to establish the “Mary Elizabeth’s Ministry for the Homeless” ministry.

It is an assignment from God to lead this outreach ministry into places seldom visited by others on a quarterly basis: to meet the needs (natural and spiritual) of the homeless men and women within the metropolitan area (Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland).

In the vision, I saw men and women wandering around lost as if in a valley of no return. 2 Samuel 9 has a story about David and Johnathan’s covenant relationship. Johnathan had a son whose name was Mephibosheth. After Johnathan’s death his son was lost in a place called Lo Debar. I’m using this story as an example of how a person can easily become homeless and lost suddenly. God showed me that today, there are similar places to compare with Lo Debar (which means a place of poverty). Some were crying out in an attempt to be heard and rescued out of their place of homeless but the state of minds that they are in prevents them from escaping without the help of those outside looking in.

The Lord spoke to me and said, “I’ve assigned twelve (12) elite women to serve in a capacity that will assist you and through prayer and a relationship with Him, with total obedience to his word that will cause the men and women in a homeless state to be set free through this ministry.

MEMFTH ministry’s mission is to support men, women and children who are homeless through our outreach ministry.

Enlarge your territory, by pulling together laborers to bring about a change in the lives of God’s people (the homeless) in every walk of life.

Give hope to the hopeless and evangelism through outreach the love of God in every location such as Lo Debar (a place of poverty).
